What's Salgua Cloud Zoom !Joomla Plugin?

Salgua Cloud Zoom is a content plugin for !Joomla that allows you to include the javascript image magnifier Cloud Zoom in your website. This plugin uses the jQuery component Cloud Zoom of Professor Cloud (www.professorcloud.com).

Requirements

  • Cloud Zoom Joomla Plugin V1.5 works on !Joomla 1.5
  • Cloud Zoom Joomla Plugin V1.6 works on !Joomla 1.6

    Install the plugin from the zip file using the !Joomla installer. You can add the magnifier effect to your images using the following syntax: 

    {cloudzoom | img="path/to/bigimage.jpg" | title="title of image" | rel="Cloud Zoom Parameters"}

    Example:

    Very easy example:

    {cloudzoom | img="/path/to/your/bigimage.jpg"}

    More complex example:

    {cloudzoom | img="/path/to/your/bigimage.jpg" | title="Image title" | width="300" | rel="adjustX: 10, adjustY:-4, tint:'#333333'"}

    IMPORTANT: Salgua Cloud Zoom plugin will create an image with suffix "_small" of the specified width. You have to ensure that your web server user can write in the directory where you will put the images.

    In !Joomla 1.6 you have to disable the article text filtering in order to use the Salgua Cloud Zoom syntax. To do this go in "Article manager"->"Options"->"Text filters" and set the filter type to "no filter" for your filter group.
